Workshops

For more than twenty five years I have been a successful photographer at both national and international level. My experience has encompassed the use of film at medium and 35mm format (for more than 40 years), along with digital imagery since about 1995. I have been lecturing to the audiences of camera clubs for more than twenty five years.

I regularly lecture to groups of people (of very mixed photographic ability), about the use of Adobe Photoshop.

Having spent my whole career in education, teaching A level, O level and GCSE Chemistry for more than 30 years, I feel well qualified to be able to help people improve their skills.

Landscape Workshops

I am able to offer practical landscape workshops (digital and film) to small groups of people (maximum 3) in some of the most picturesque areas of South Wales. This is possible as I live only 15 drive minutes away from the beautiful Lower Wye Valley (Tintern) and about 40 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. more information

Digital Workshops

Adobe Photoshop tuition takes place in my home and is restricted to a maximum of two people. Teaching takes the form of demonstrations, using my digital projector and laptop, followed by hands on practise (with help) at one of my two desktop computers. more information

Bird Photography Workshops

During Winter months, wild bird photography workshops can be offered at one of my woodland feeding sites

If you are interested in capturing stunning flight shots of Red Kites, workshops can be organised at Gigrin Farm, throughout the year.

Careful Canon users will be allowed to use Professional Canon Prime Telephoto Lenses, during both of these workshops, at no additional cost. more information
